ABOUT THE E-PRO FOR ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

The Need For the Program

The way real estate practitioners sell real estate today is not the way they sold it 20, 15, 10, even 5 years ago. The way they sell it today is not the way they will sell it tomorrow. The driving force behind this change is technology and the Internet. In this changing environment, associations must work to remain relevant to the membership. The more emphasis and influence an association has in its efforts to move its membership online, the more valuable the association is to its members. In other words, the support of members during their own transition from an analog (manual systems, paper based) to a digital business structure provides an opportunity for the association to become a valued technology partner for its members.

Associations must continue to enhance efficiencies of operation and dissemination of information by dealing more and more with their members in an online, web-enabled environment. The time savings in using the Internet for member communications and information can help the association's bottom line.
